2015 Hobie Fishing World Championship



Oceanside, California – March 25, 2015 - As announced earlier, the fifth annual Hobie Fishing World Championship (HFW5), presented by Rhino-Rack™ and hosted by Hobie Cat® Australasia, will take place on Shang Lake in Changshu, China November 9-16 of this year.  A series of four qualifying events will determine a total of five spots on Team North America at the Championship.  These winners will join 2014 Hobie Fishing World Champion, Steve Lessard, and 2014 IFA Champion, Benton Parrott to make up the team of seven.  They will each compete with anglers from over twenty countries for the chance to take home the coveted crown.



Listed below are dates, locations and registration links for the four North American qualifiers.  The Border City Classic, true to its name, will be held literally on the U.S./Canadian border. Two winners will be crowned. One will be the highest placing Canadian and the other the highest placing American.
