2013 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

The all-new Albury 23, aimed at the backwater sight fishing anglers.

By Brenton Roberts

With all the new products emerging these days, boat shows are an ideal place to give the public a sneak peek. The 54th Annual Fort Lauderdale Boat Show is being hosted October 31 through November 4. If you are interested in fishing or just enjoy boating and the outdoors this is a great event to attend. This year many boat manufacturers released new boats for their line ups and are showcasing them at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. We had the pleasure to take a look at these boats first hand and give them a solid run down.

When you walk through the gates it's almost overwhelming, the boats, people and atmosphere is just great. The best way to dissect this puzzle is to just take it slow, don't rush it, because you may miss some very interesting and informative things. Everybody at the show is very informative and helpful with whatever your needs may be.

Florida Sportsman has two booths this year, one located inside and one outside. The outside booth has a pool with a skiff for instructional seminars. Inside, you will be able to sign up and renew your issues of the magazine and participate in some great raffles, so make sure to stop by.

Overall, this boat show is the real deal. It hosts the top boat and fishing manufacturers in the industry and really is a great time for everyone, So, if you are looking for an enjoyable weekend activity don't overlook the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.

Take a look at gallery below for our favorite boats at the show.
