The Jouppi family gathers to help raffle off the last item of the day. The 2013 Florida Sportsman SE Bash helped raise over $10,500 for Dylan Jouppi.
Another Florida Sportsman SE Bash and Tournament has passed, this year it was bigger and better than ever! 249 anglers signed up to fish for a great cause, with all proceeds going to benefit Dylan Jouppi.
Blair Wickstrom, Florida Sportsman Publisher, commented, “It's great to see the fishing community come together, to not only enjoy a weekend with each other, but to reach out to help one another. The Florida Sportsman Southeast Forum is made up of anglers and outdoorsmen, but it's also tied together by quality-caring people, folks that don't mind putting in time and money to help another FS member. I'd like to thank all the SE Bash volunteers, but especially Long Nguyen, Mike Senecal and the Schuler family for helping raise over $10,500 for Dylan Jouppi. What an amazing outpouring of generosity.”
Said best by tournament director and coordinator Long Nguyen:
"I want to end by thanking everyone again. I remember a couple of months ago, I was pulling my hair out and thinking "what did I get myself into..." It's thanks to the list of people below who went above and beyond to make this successful. Now that it's over, I am anxious to share with you soon how much was raised by your combined efforts, and look forward to it again next year. This was not some epic fishing report, but it's an experience I will remember always.
