The Yellowfin Yachts 24 Bay Boat is a significant departure for a company long associated with producing sleek, speedy center consoles designed for kingfish competition. At almost 25 feet and 8½ feet wide, the big craft comes ready to fish, with hydraulic jack plate and 8-foot Power-Pole with a high performance pump.
In addition to six horizontal rod tubes, the console’s vertical stainless rod holders keep another 10 rods handy. An O-ringed gutter system keeps water out of storage compartments. One huge storage compartment lies under the bow casting platform, assessed by any of three hatches. Three trolling-motor batteries and on-board charger nest neatly beneath another hatch below the storage compartment. Access to bilge and livewell pumps and plumbing, along with starting batteries, is beneath the transom rear seat.

Access to the massive bow storage compartment is through one of three hatches. Here the starboard side hatch is open.
The removable all-around white navigation light is stored in brackets under the huge center bow storage hatch.
The clean design of the center console affords sufficient room for mounting a variety of electronics.
The large center livewell lives just forward of the transom. This location and the sliding glass door that allows the well to fill completely affords the best ride possible for your precious bait.
Sleek, stowable cleats placed strategically around the boat make tie up easy and fishing line tangles nonexistent.
An electric jack plate allows the already shallow running hull to go really thin when the motor is raised while on plane.
The Evinrude E-Tec 250 tilts completely clear of the water.
Easy access to accessories located inside the console like ship’s batteries, battery switches, wiring, the circuit breaker panel, and electric pumps is afforded through the large raised door.
The Evinrude E-Tec 250 jumped the boat on plane in just a couple boat lengths.
At rest the Yellowfin 24 Bay Boat sits very level and provides ample room for several anglers to cast from the bow or stern.
The raised casting deck forward has a single massive storage area located below. An anchor locker located at the forepeak holds rode, chain and anchor.
Portside aft livewell
The Power-Pole XL anchors the boat in soft bottoms automatically with the push of a button.
Livewell and bilge pumps plus their associated plumbing is accessible through an opening below the rear seat cushion.
Rear seating provides a comfortable ride for passengers.
Up on plane and running.
Toekick around the console foot allows operators and anglers to get close without stubbing toes.
Below the bottom of the giant front storage compartment lies another large compartment that holds three batteries to supply 36 volts to the trolling motor. The onshore charger for these batteries is also located here.
