Online Field Report: Scout 350 Abaco Series
Exclusive FS photos from the dock.

The 350 Abaco headlines Scout’s newest series of walk-arounds. She and her smaller siblings were designed with help from naval architect Michael Powers, whose work brings distinctive lines and interiors to the company's fleet. Twin 350s power this 35-footer that sleeps five. Unusual for a vessel this size, a systems room allows easy access to generators, batteries, pumps and wiring; the space rivals engine rooms of multimillion-dollar sportfishers. Range is 450 miles, the manufacturer estimates. Optimal cruising efficiency, according to Yamaha, is 1.11 miles per gallon at 30 MPH. Top speed surpasses 50 MPH. Dual fuel tanks hold 330 gallons total.
