FS webXtra coverage of the new 3070 and 3080 models.
Glacier Bay has just introduced the new 3070 Isle Runner and the 3080 Coastal Runner. Essentially the same boat, the 3080 is the hard top version. In addition to the sea-keeping qualities of the twin sponsons, the catamaran design provides a large fishing cockpit and generous cruising accommodations. With her shoal draft, she can cruise in many areas off limits to other boats and the cats’ offshore performance is already known. When we were offshore on the 3080 she ran very comfortably into and downsea in a nasty short chop. Although it was not necessary to slow down, it was demonstrated that the boat remains on a level running attitude even at a reduced speed of about 16 MPH.
Length: 32'1"
Beam: 10'8"
