Designed to take on a variety of inshore and offshore tasks, the versatile Angler Panga 22 is equally at home drift-fishing a foot-deep flat for trout or bottom-fishing a 200-foot wreck. Draft is approximately 10 inches, and the narrow, 7-foot, 7-inch beam and high, sharp entry slice through offshore swells and chop. Maximum horsepower is 200--either inboard or outboard--but the traditional panga hull is famed for use with small, fuel efficient engines. Standard fuel capacity of the welded aluminum fuel tank is 73 gallons. Overall length is 22 feet, 5 inches, and weight is 2,000 pounds. Seating consists of two pedestal seats and aft jump seats. The wood-free hull features a lifetime limited warranty. Visit angler at www.anglerboats.com
Despite just a 7.5-foot beam, the flat deck, narrow gunnels and small console leave plenty of room for fishing tasks.
Rated for up to 200 horsepower—but pangas are renowned for running well on much smaller, fuel-efficient engines. Trim tabs get this model on plane quickly.
Pangas are traditionally known more for their versatility and fuel efficiency than for their amenities, but leaning posts and console seats are welcome comforts.
Twin corner storage compartments, or plumb them for livewell use.
Front console seat, with below-deck storage or fish box in front.
Third oval livewell under front seat.
T-top shade—with rodholders and spreader lights—would be a dream come true for Central American panga fishermen.
More stuff the original panga designers forgot to include—electronics and cupholders.
Deluxe leaning post with grab rail and rocket launcher.
Fuel-efficient, lots of space, runs shallow enough to fish shallow inshore grassflats, yet designed to take on offshore chop—the Panga 22 offers the versatility to handle a multitude of fishing adventures.
