Creek mouths, oyster bars, mangrove shorelines, grass edges—these are just some of the natural features which time engineered into the life cycles of game fish.
Docks, bridges and artificial reefs figure heavily into our fishing, but some days the natural structure holds more appeal.
The relationship between fish and natural structure works two ways: Often, game fish hold in a place that gives them an easy chance to catch a meal, in other cases, they’re seeking security of their own.
In this week’s show we’ll cover several techniques on catching snapper and grouper in NE Florida and then head to the gulf for trout, snook and pompano.
