Hell's Bay Sponsors Mosquito Lagoon Redbone Celebrity Tournament
Cool Fall Day. First Light. Mosquito Lagoon. Redfish Tails. You're there.
You'll start the day at daybreak, running fast into the light

Just in case you’re not able to get out on the water this weekend, here are a few scenes of a redfishing trip in Mosquito Lagoon, from dawn to dusk. The pictures were taken at last year’s Mosquito Lagoon Redbone Celebrity Tournament by the folks at Hell’s Bay Boatworks in Titusville, one of the sponsors of the tournament again this year.
The tournament will be October 16 though 18, and promises more great redfishing in the first flush of fall, and a great competitive rush for a good cause, the Redbone fundraising efforts. Big redfish are being sighted in the lagoon these past few days, so fishing is set to be hot.
It's the 8th year for the event, and this year's fishing celebrities will include Flip Pallot and marine artist Vaughn Cochran, among other well-known figures.
The tournament will be held at Brian Clancy's Mosquito Lagoon Fish Camp, www.mosquitolagoonfishcamp.com. You can call Brian Clancy on his cell (386) 566-6303 or call the camp at (386) 409-7380.
Poling at dawn for the early feeders. We should be so lucky.

The 16th will be the Captain's Dinner at the New Smyrna Yacht Club. Fishing is Friday and Saturday with a dinner at the Mosquito Lagoon Fish Camp dock Saturday night. This year's title sponsor is the Chipper Jones Family Foundation.
For details on registration, call Melissa Breckenridge of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at (321) 255 5010; mbreckenridge@cff.org
As the sun comes up, the tails shine in Mosquito Lagoon shallows.
