Stupendous Atlantic sailfish bites have been reported off Islamorada, Miami, Fort Pierce, Jacksonville and all points in between. Stocks seem to have been increasing in abundance over the last decade; that or we’re just getting better at catching them. There’s even some Gulf Coast action during early summer off St. Petersburg, particularly around the end of the Egmont Ship Channel. Late summer sees good catches out of Panhandle ports like Destin.
