Episode Twelve: Bay Boat Swordin'

Captain George has often thought about taking the Reel Time bay boat out swordfishing off the Southeast Florida coast. The conditions finally lined up and it was game on.

Episode Thirteen: Reel Time Bloopers

The last twelve episodes of Reel Time with Florida Sportsman have been a great success; thanks to a great captain, crew, and the stars of the show, the forum members. From inshore to offshore, the forum members have put Capt. George on some spectacular fishing and good times. Of course, right from episode one, there were moments destined to be bloopers.

Episode Fourteen: Reds on Top

When it comes to almost any type of fishing, it is often debated that nothing is more exciting than having a hungry fish explode on a topwater. In the east central region, the Mosquito Lagoon is famous for its shallow water redfish and trout action. Get out early enough in the morning and throw a topwater and you’ll be sure to have a hungry red or two swinging at your plug.

Episode Fifteen: Sweetwater Peacocks in Miami

Captain George Gozdz is constantly looking for new areas to fish around the state, along with new and exciting types of fishing. After seeing forum member Jonathon Earhart’s post in the south region fishing for peacock bass in the urban sprawl of Miami, Capt. George knew right away where his next destination had to be.

Episode Sixteen: Crystal River Scalloping

This week’s Reel Time with Florida Sportsman takes place in the Big Bend region of Florida and proved to be quite the big adventure for Captain George Gozdz and crew. The name of the game is scalloping. It’s a tradition up here! Florida Sportsman member Mario aka ripthelips met up with Capt. George early in the morning and immediately noticed the approaching bad weather!

On this week’s episode of Reel Time, Capt. George Gozdz decided to give some love to the hunting section of the forum. Forum member Tommy Edwards brought along the tags and local knowledge, along with the proper gear to bag a big gator. The destination was North Okeechobee.

This week’s episode of Reel Time with Florida Sportsman takes place in the West Central region of the forum, in search of redfish, snook, and whatever else that might decide to take an offering. The crew was greeted with a beautiful morning in St. Pete and headed off at sunrise to catch a topwater bite.

On this week’s episode of Reel Time, the crew heads back up north to Jacksonville for the first ever FS Northeast Forum Bash, benefiting Drew Wood. The Bash brought an array of active members in the forum community together for a great cause. What better way for the Reel Time crew to join in on the Bash than to take a kid fishing?
