Always ready to try new tactics, this week the Reel Time crew headed back to the West Central region of the Florida Sportsman Forums. Captain George Gozdz recently read a report from FS member psycosnooker, which included multiple legal-sized gag grouper caught on the residential docks in the St. Pete Island area. Capt. George was reminded of the snook fishery back at home in Stuart; a true tug of war between fish and angler, this was something he had to try. Stuart Davis, aka psycosnooker, did not disappoint. Sharp hooks, heavy rods, locked down drags, and a well full of pilchards, spelled a day full of flippin’ for grouper.
