West Palm Beach Fishing Club Hosts 70th annual Silver Sailfish Derby
Only 8 more boats can register
It will be tough to top the West Palm Beach Fishing Club’s 69th annual Silver Sailfish Derby—last year 958 sails were released during the three-day event. But 52 boats have already registered for the 70th derby, and the fleet is limited to 60 boats. The tournament is set for Thursday, January 4th through Saturday, January 6th, 2007, and the captains’ meeting will take place Wednesday, January 3rd, at 6pm at the West Palm Beach Fishing Club. The tournament will be headquartered out of the Sailfish Marina on Singer Island. To get a registration form, go to www.westpalmbeachfishingclub.org. Fill it out and fax it to (561) 832-2137.
