Florida Sportsman managing editor Frank “Fritter” Bolin passed away in November, after a 9-month battle with cancer. Almost 200 people attended a memorial for him, held at the Florida Oceanographic Society, which was followed by a ceremonial paddle out conducted by his many, many friends in the surfing community. Tomorrow, December 30, the Stuart Sailfish Club will host a tournament out of Finest Kind marine that will benefit the Bolin family. Entry fee is $200 per boat.
