On Saturday, April 8, the West Palm Beach Fishing Club will host its annual one-day yard sale. Merchandise includes rods, reels, radios, anchors, dock lines, gaffs, cast nets, lures, assorted electronics, props, terminal tackle, tackle boxes and “many more marine-related items.”
All proceeds go to the Palm Beach County Fishing Foundation, the club’s charitable affiliate. PBCFF conducts several youth-oriented programs throughout the year, including the Kids’ Fishing Day outreach program, an environmental education/fishing adventure for underprivileged kids.
PBCFF is currently accepting donations and donations are tax deductible. The event takes place at the West Palm Beach Fishing Club, located at 201 Fifth Street in downtown West Palm Beach, between 7 A.M. and 12 noon. For more information contact the club, (561) 832-6780.
