Rivers Coalition to Hold Dirty River Dance February 26th
Come to the all-day St. Lucie River Legal Defense Fundraiser and Party
Treasure Coast anglers, boaters and residents fed up with the repeated massive, polluted Lake Okeeechobee discharges into the St. Lucie estuary can show support for the Rivers Coalition and have family fun at the same time by attending the Dirty River Dance.
The event will be held on Sunday, February 26 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on the bank of the Indian River at the U.S. Sailing Center, 1955 N.E. Indian River Drive, in Jensen Beach. Admission is free.
There will be three live bands, food and drink for purchase, cash and merchandise raffles, a silent auction, community and marine educational booths and lots of kid's activities.
There is limited parking on site, however, parking and shuttle service is available at Langford Park on Old Dixie Highway in Jensen Beach. The RiversCoalition thanks the following sponsors:
The Stuart News, Southern Eagle/Budweiser, Lindsay Marine, the Martin/St. Lucie Chapter of Coastal Conservation Association Florida, Ron Romano and Florida Sportsman Magazine, The Real Estate Company Treasure Coast, Ultra Strip System, Thomas Frames and Gallery, and Freedom Waste, and the many local merchants who donated goods and services for auction and raffle.
