Anglers Needed at Everglades and Biscayne National Parks Meetings
Take advantage of this opportunity to preserve fishing access in Park waters.
Everglades National Park (ENP) and Biscayne National Park (BNP) officials are holding a public meeting to address the National Park Service’s management policies, which will greatly impact the future operation of both South Florida National Parks. This should be of great concern to all South Florida and visiting anglers. Recreational fishing is by far the most popular activity in both ENP and BNP.
Take this opportunity as a major stakeholder to ask park officials about boating access and fisheries policies, and demand that all post-hurricane restoration, in particular the dredging of the Flamingo bayside ramp and marina basin, be completed in a timely manner. The meeting takes place on Wednesday, January 25 at the Florida City Commission Chambers, 404 West Palm Drive in Florida City between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
