How much do you really know about big fish? You can test your knowledge against others and be recognized for it, and even rewarded for your success.

The Big Fish Challenge is a free online competition from the International Billfish Network at IBFN.org. There are already several challenge areas such as the Big Fish Story, Circle Hooks, Big Fish Community, Careers in Fisheries, and Tag 'em Right. More challenges and rewards will be added in the coming months, as well.

IBFN's purpose is to increase international public awareness of ocean and big fish stock issues, and actions they can take to help restore these vital resources. IBFN's Oceans Educational Program (OEP) delivers this learning experience in several educational projects folks can participate in. They include a Virtual Reality Fishing Tournament Series, such as the upcoming Miami Boat Show Tournament, and now the Internet-based Big Fish Challenge.
