For $56.50 plus convenience fees, the first 1,000 sportsmen to buy 5-year Florida hunting licenses between Nov. 24 and Jan. 24 will receive not only the permit but also 25 percent off regularly priced hunting merchandise, excluding guns and ammo, at Sports Authority. A 10 percent discount will apply to gun and ammo purchases.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will mail the Sports Authority coupons to the address listed on the hunting license. The permits may be purchased on the Internet at MyFWC.com/license/, by calling (888) HUNT-FLORIDA (486-8356), at county tax collectors’ offices or from license vendors.
