An investigation into the illegal sale of wildlife in Okeechobee and Palm Beach counties wrapped up November 5 with the arrest of the final seven suspects in the case. During the course of the year-long undercover operation, FWC personnel purchased 3,000 pounds of gamefish, along with alligator meat and rabbits. A total of 15 people face charges resulting from the illegal sales, and a truck used by the poachers has been forfeited.
