Hobie introduces the 13-foot, 6-inch Quest Fisherman. The kayak weighs 57 pounds, and comes with an adjustable seat, two-piece paddle and a molded-in grip for carrying. The boat sports two on-hull storage locations, two molded-in cup holders, two mesh-covered stowage pockets and a large cargo area with bungee tie-downs. Evinrude E-TEC 115

Evinrude introduces a V4, 60-degree platform 115-hp E-TEC . The engine is designed to improve fuel efficiency and stealth on smaller bass boats, pontoons, aluminum fishing boats, flats boats, bay boats and rigid inflatables. There’s no scheduled dealer maintenance for the first three years or 300 hours of use with this engine. And manufacturers boast that according to the Environmental Protection Agency 2004 certification database, Evinrude E-TEC is the cleanest 2-stroke outboard engine. Engines have 15 amps of battery charging available at 500 rpm or idle, and 50 amps from 2,000 rpm to wide open throttle. Another aspect in this component is true battery isolation, which means a battery can be charged separately from the main cranking battery. If one battery is completely discharged and the other full, then the alternator will send power to the uncharged battery. Battery cables and boat connections are all connected in one location. Aquasport 175 Osprey

Aquasport’s 175 Osprey Classic is a center console with a 6-foot, 9-inch beam designed for 360-degree fishability. It comes with an insulated fish box tucked below the casting platform and a forward console seat and livewell. The console includes a stainless steel wheel, stainless steel hardware, compass, cooler seat with backrest and lockable storage in the helm. Manufacturers say it drafts 10 inches. Maximum horsepower is 120. Options include a Bimini top and trailer packages. Suggested retail with engine runs in the $22,000 range, depending on the package.
