Volvo Penta D6-350 DP, and D6-350 DPR
Designed for speeds up to 60 knots, the Volvo Penta D6-350 DP, D6-350 DPR and D6-350 DPR provide the speed of multiple outboards or gasoline inboard sterndrives while delivering diesel reliability, long life and low fuel consumption. All three engines are higher-output derivatives of the D6-310. Engine control systems have been reprogrammed, the turbo has been optimized and the engines with Duoprop drives now have a mechanical compressor. The 350-hp D6-350 DP, the world’s most powerful diesel with sterndrive, will be installed in twin configurations in sportfishing boats up to 45 feet, or as the single power source in smaller boats. The 5.5-liter, in-line 6-cylinder utilizes common-rail injection, charge-air cooling and 4-valve technology, with a mechanical compressor combined with turbo that delivers impressive acceleration due to outstanding low-rpm torque. The DPR version utilizes a smaller lower housing and stainless steel props to maximize performance. The 370-hp D6-370 features electronically controlled reverse gears or V-drive, cast cylinder heads and a special ladder frame bolted on as bottom reinforcement to minimize vibration. All three engines conform to 2006/2007emission requirements.
eL Pirata Bad Bones 18
A long list of options lets anglers customize the eL Pirata Bad Bones 18 flats skiff to suit their individual needs. Decks are non-skid with a flyline toe rail, with flush-mounted hardware including a pop-up pushpole holder. Flyrod tubes, under-gunnel rod racks and console side rod holders are standard.
