Do you want your own Florida Sportsman Blog?

There has never been a better time to start blogging. In fact, Florida Sportsman magazine wants to publish your blog on our website if it’s interesting, exciting, picture-friendly and useful to other fishermen. Think of it as a fishing blog by FS readers for FS readers, or as a days-long forum fishing report with the ability to follow along.

If you believe you have a future trip that’s a candidate for a blog, we would like to hear from you. In your inquiry, tell us about yourselves. Tell us something about your home waters or where you’re planning your trip. Send us a few sample photos (and videos), along with a couple paragraphs on why you’d like to be featured as a Florida Sportsman blog. The trips should be informative and fun, with some emphasis on helping other readers with their own fishing trips.

But other topics could also make a strong blog. Maybe you are a boating “gearhead” and you have useful tips for other boaters? Or maybe you fish inshore regularly and have found solutions to problems many other anglers deal with? All these ideas could make for an exciting Florida Sportsman blog!

Send your inquiries to Sam@floridasportsman.com (Associate Editor, Sam Hudson).
