CIRCULATION DATA
For the period ending December 31, 2004 the ABC audited paid circulation is
113,290. Overall readership exceeds 300,000. Sold throughout Florida, the American Tropics
and across the nation at marine and tackle outlets and general news stands, and by paid
subscriptions, reaching a huge consumer market. Established 1969. Single copy $3.99; by
mail, 12 issues, $26.95, 24 issues $48.95, 36 issues $ 59.95.
PRINTING SPECIFICATIONS
Preferred material: Electronic Files
Florida Sportsman uses Apple Power Macintosh computers with QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop,
Freehand and Illustrator.
- Must send all linked graphics, printer and screen fonts.
- Accepted graphic formats: TIFF, EPS, JPG at 300 dpi at 100%.
- PDFs accepted only if distilled through Adobe Acrobat distiller. Set
Adobe distiller to press optimized. Send and embed fonts.
- All 4-color separations must be in CMYK format. No DCS files
accepted.
- Include a report of all fonts and graphics for each file.
- Include a laser proof for all ads. A color proof must accompany all
color ads. We do not guarantee color match unless proof conforms with SWOP standards.
- FTP Site Available, call for instructions.
- Ads in the correct format may be e-mailed to cathy@floridasportsman.com . You must fax a
copy of the ad to 772-219-6900. Include the name of the account, issue, contact person and
phone number or your ad will not be accepted.
Also accepted: Film negatives (right reading, emulsion side down).
B/W line screen: 110; 4 color: 133. Proofs required. Nominal net charges for typesetting,
conversions and artwork. Important: For bleed copy allow 1/8" for trim on outside
edges, keep live matter at least 1/2" from edges. Trim size 8" x 10
7/8"
ISSUE AND CLOSING DATES
Published monthly. Reservations and camera-ready copy closing 45 days
prior to cover month. Copy requiring artwork and/or typesetting should be provided 10 days
prior to closing. On sale the 25th of the month preceding cover month.
