Miami Multi-Hookups October 26

Getting tight with Uptight. Jeffrey Fiorentino, Coral Gables, had a day to remember. “It was a great day offshore Miami, just north of Miami Beach. Our 11 out of 15 sails consisted of 2 quads, 1 triple and 2 doubles. We also landed a few nice gaffer size mahi's and even had a Mutton Snapper come up on our kite baits. It's early in the season, we're looking forward to a strong Miami bite. We found the bite in shallow, around 65 feet on ballyhoo showers - all on kite baits, google eyes and threadfins.” @uptight_sportfishing . #sailfish #sailfishing #sailfishboats #kitefishing #livebait #miami#greatday #floridasportsmanmagazine

OnlyHogs October 30

It's all hogs for Dalton Otoole. Whether rooting in fields or coral beds, wild hogs and hogfish, are continually on the move, eating. And Dalton, from New Port Richey, loves both, to hunt them, and to eat them. Either spearfishing or hunting with a bow, inevitably Dalton has hogs on the brain. “Between spearfishing and bow hunt they have so many similarities. Being under water hunting and above water hunting is all about being accurate and precise with your shots. One bad shot you lose the animal, one great shot lands you a picture with it and some good dinner on the table! Another thing in common is preparation, making sure your gear is all good and ready to be used and your gun is safe and ready to be handled. The biggest similarity is you're in the great outdoors living a life people dream of and doing things that some people can't do or don't have the opportunity to do. It's what makes these times so special!” Well said Dalton. If you're going to shoot a hogfish in the Atlantic you better get going the season for them closes Sunday, November 1st. . @dalton_otoole #hogfish #wildhogs #wildflorida #getoutside #bowhunting #spearfishing #floridasportsmanmagazine #floridasportsmancredo

Was This Deer Lost? October 30

View this post on Instagram

"Holy G2's” It's not everyday that a buck like this comes by in FL, let alone on FL public land! This Bay County giant fell to a well placed arrow from Dylan Barnes right before coming out of the stand. According to Dylan, “This was my first time ever sitting this public land, wind blowing 30 knots and as I am standing up to climb down out of the stand at dark an absolute giant walls right under me at 10 yards. I had just enough time to draw back and shoot him at about 22 yards and dropped on the spot. We green scored him at the deer processor at 148”. Bay County bow record is 141” net and I believe this is going to top it. He was 186 lbs.” Congrats Dylan @dylanbarnes91 . #deer #floridadeer #floridadeerhunting #bowhunting #whitetaildeer #fwc#boonandcrocket #deerofalifetime #floridasportsmanmagazine
