Includes Vero Beach, Ft. Pierce, Stuart, West Palm Beach and Lake Worth

March 13-15

Snook fishing remains strong using live bait around structure this week. Live bunker, mullet, and or pilchards will be your live baits of choice. Pompano fishing has also been great this week on the sailfish flats. Using pompano jigs or pompano pro rigs with clams and/or sand fleas.

Cobia will be the main focus this week. Fishing reefs & wrecks with jigs or live baits will produce large cobia. Bottom fishing has been steady for snapper, amberjacks, grouper, sea bass, and triggerfish on the Six and Eight Mile Reef. Kingfish will be prevalent on the reefs, as well. Surface baits will get the bites. Trolling in 90 to 220-feet has been productive for sailfish, mahi, blackfin tuna this week. Mostly on dead ballyhoo with Islander Skirts.
