Heading to the Keys for lobster season? Southwest Florida for tarpon action? Now's the time to update your Navionics chart cards. Last winter, Florida boaters contributed to a massive community effort to “remap” Florida waters in the wake of Hurricane Irma. Individual sonar logs uploaded to Navionics have been incorporated into the latest chart versions for Florida. Also, the Navionics team tells us that much of the hurricane debris reported during the remap has been removed by NOAA. Visit www.navionics.com/usa for details.
