For many dual console owners, having the ability to multi-task is the key attractant in a vessel. Families who enjoy parties on the sand bar as much as fishing and water sports find a lot to love about this design and for good reason. The Century 24 Resorter does not disappoint on either front. Trying to divide a single boat into so many parts can be a challenge but Century smartly divided this model into two distinct stations, aft for activities and forward for relaxation. The mid-section is a common ground space bathed in abundant shade provided by a ruggedly built over-sized hard top. For the loungers in the family, you’ll find comfortable wrap-around bench seating with a removable table forward. Ahead of the dual consoles there are companion backrests with fold down armrests for two people to stretch out and recline, each facing forward. A filler piece and extra cushions can be added to the bench seating to make serious lounging a reality. A Bow mounted boarding ladder makes access to the sand bar without going swimming a much simpler process.
The cockpit on the 24 Resorter is roomy enough to permit enough working space for fishing without anglers feeling cramped and still offers one step access to the shaded area beneath the top. Oversized tubing and rugged construction provide a large, solid hard top frame which features an overhead Tow Bit for pulling water toys and skis. A live well and rigging sink are located across the transom gunnel and the rear transom deck is easily accessible while fighting a fish via the transom door. The center section helm area is divided by a helm seat to starboard and a convertible passenger seat to port that serves as a seat to face forward or aft, a bench/lounge seat, a bunk to stretch out on, and an insulated cooler. The dual consoles provide plenty of dry storage options inside as well as an enclosed head to port. All of the benefits gained by the dual console configuration are neatly fit onto this 24-foot model and a host of options are available to really dress up what is already an impressive family cruiser straight off the line.
