Port St. Joe to Keaton Beach
Includes Apalachicola, St. George Island, Carabelle, St. Marks and Keaton Beach
The top water bite aught to be good all day. Anywhere from two to four feet of water over the patchy sand and grass bottom of St. Joseph’s bay and East Bay, Panama City. As the moon is becoming full, the bite should pick up later in the morning to mid-day when the sun is at its highest.
There has also been some schools of bull reds lurking the beaches around Cape San Blas and PCB. Cruise the sandbars and look for dark clouds moving along the sand and/or birds diving into bait schools. Large gold spoons, swim baits and 1-2 oz soft plastic jigs can work well here.
