These fall days the blackfin bite is happening off the Keys and Southeast and East Central Florida, and off the Panhandle, too. Yes, blackfin is a good tuna to eat, but like most fish, the quality of the dish prepared with it depends just as much on the handling of the meat, its freshness and the choice of recipe used to prepare it. Not to mention the skill of the cook!
