Papa Kwan's Super Slam Fishing Tournament

Papa Kwan’s is excited to host the 1st Annual Super Slam Fishing Tournament. This tournament was created to be fun and to include ALL types of fishing. That is why there are 4 categories: Offshore, Inshore, Spearfishing, and Facebook. The tournament starts March 1st and runs through March 31st. This is a tournament “where size really doesn’t matter”. In the Offshore , Inshore , and Spearfishing categories, contestants must catch all the species listed in their category to win. Verification happens by taking a picture of your catch , yourself and the Papa Kwan’s secret item given to you, and either send the picture by text, email, or post it to our Facebook page. The first contestant to catch all of the species in their category wins first place. In the event of a tie the contestant that posted the picture to text, email or Facebook of their last fish caught, will be the winner. In the event that all species are not caught by a contestant in a category, the contestant with the most species caught will be the 1st place winner. (Remember to submit your pictures as soon as possible!)

FACEBOOK

Facebook category should prove to be very interesting. In this category, the contestant that gets the most likes for any one picture posted will win. This means you could catch a 9 inch Blue Runner, and get more “Likes” than any other picture and you could win this category. Verification still require a pic including the contestant, the fish and the Papa Kwan’s secret item AND ANYONE ELSE or ANYTHING ELSE you would like to include in the picture. So be as creative as you want, just keep it G rated and fun. The winner could also be someone who lands a 6 foot long swordfish. This category should generate a lot of really interesting pictures. Remember to have your friends and family “LIKE” your picture. The Prize for this is a full sized printed High Def Chromalux Print of the winning picture.

MOST LIONFISH CAUGHT IN A DAY

This contestant that wins this prize is most likely going to be from the spearfishing category. It’s very simple, whoever catches the most Lionfish in a single day wins. This also requires verification by picture with the contestant, the fish, and the secret item. The Prize for this is a full sized printed High Def Chromalux Print of the winning picture.

HARD LUCK PRIZE

This prize is being donated by Juno Bait and Tackle and the criteria and actual prize will be announced by Juno Bait and Tackle.
