As Florida Sportsman prepares to launch the Best Boat Shootout, we need your input.
We plan to go beyond the run of the mill boat test and will put each boat through a series of challenges designed specifically for that class of boat to show how they stack up against each other in real world conditions. Scoring will be based on several categories encompassing speed, ride, handling and which unique features make a particular boat best in class in a head to head comparison between models.
In the attached survey we ask “What are the most important factors in your decision making process in purchasing a new boat?” Armed with this feedback we will assemble our series of challenges and the testing will begin in 13 categories from Kayaks through 42 foot Center Consoles.
