Miami Freshwater Slam

Just as saltwater has its variety of inshore and offshore slams, freshwater anglers have fashioned their own. Down in South Florida, the freshwater spillways, canals, and lakes can hold quite the variety of species, including some saltwater species that can adapt to levels of very low salinity. Snook and tarpon, for example, are frequently caught in freshwater and brackish environments. Florida Sportsman member UrbanAnglerMiami managed to catch a slam of his own recently, consisting of a peacock bass, largemouth bass, and a hefty snook. Hai Troung, otherwise known as UrbanAnglerMiami, has come up with a name for this video that is most appropriate, “Exploring the Sublime of the Angling Worlds.”
