The Jack Kearns Classic V has been postponed AGAIN due to the weather forecast and is now scheduled to run JANUARY 26th. Should the weather be bad again on the 26th the tournament will run on the FEBRUARY 2nd.
Also, a decision was made last night to add two species to the fish list: yellow jack and African pompano. These are being added as grouper are no longer available due to the closed season. As always, it is up to the divers to know the laws and follow them.
The after party and raffle/auction will take place immediately after the weigh-in.

The Jack Kearns Classic V will be held at SHAKE-A-LEG in Coconut Grove and will feature a variety of categories; Spearguns, Slings/Poles, Juniors, Women’s, and Lionfish. Aside from the great competition we will have music and drinks at the weigh in and have a great time.
Even if you are not competing we encourage you to attend the weigh in at 4 p.m. and participate in the dive gear raffle/auction. Remember that this event will benefit SHAKE-A-LEG MIAMI whose mission is, “To use the marine environment to improve the health, education and independence of people with disabilities, disadvantaged youth and their families.”
