Atlantic vermilion snapper season re-opens to recreational anglers in state waters starting April 1, after a closed season from November 1 to March 31. For South Atlantic federal waters, “beeliners” also re-open on April 1.

Other regulations stay the same  

Vermilion snapper larger than 12 inches are legal to keep. The daily bag limit is 5 vermilion snapper per person (in addition to the aggregate bag limit of 10 snapper). The captain and crew of for-hire vessels may not keep the daily limit.
