Full Moon Fishing

It’s a timeless question for outdoorsmen: How does a full moon affect the action? Specifically, in the Keys General Forum, we’re asked about whether fish are slower to bite during the days around the full moon. A common theory is that dolphin and other predators feed effectively on those bright nights, and thus aren’t as hungry the next day.

There’s no one-size-fits-all explanation, but it can be useful to keep notes from different parts of the state. Check out what our Florida Sportsman Members are saying in the Keys, and think about how their answers could help you in your region of the state.
