Let’s Get Small

SHOW DESCRIPTION

If you’ve read at least one fishing magazine or watched a single fishing TV show, you’ve probably heard the phrase “match the hatch”. Fish with bait similar in size to what the fish are feeding on. And if you’ve read at least two fishing magazines and watched three TV shows, you’ve probably heard the phrase “elephants eat peanuts”. Well, we’re going to talk about both, elephants and peanuts in this show of Florida Sportsman TV.

Often what happens, as you grow tired of casting, and not hooking up, to explosions of fish busting the surface, you’re fishing with a lure that’s too big and doesn’t resemble the action or look of what the fish are eating. At that point it’s time to get the bag of peanuts out and match the hatch.

Head out with Blair Wickstrom and Eric Bachnik as they get small in Tampa Bay, in search of tarpon and redfish. And then we switch coasts and fire up the 750 h.p center console to blast off for dolphin and wahoo offshore.
